Born in Hagi in 1951 Kaneko Nobuhiko is a multi-award winning artist including the Grand Prize at the Asahi Ceramic Exhibition in 2004, the 2003 Yamaguchi Prefecture Culture Award, the Grand Prize at the 2001 Mashiko Ceramic Exhibition and the Asahi Ceramic Exhibition Award of Excellence in 1998, among others.
