Tricks of Galleries who not know the difference between Fujiwara Yu & Fujiwara Kei
How many times happens that even with google map you were thinking to go in New York, at some point you found yourself in Arizona and you didn't realized that you are out of New York's state? Its happened to me once, traveling from New York to Sleepy Hollow i found myself near Canada not far from Bedford. Anyway, every day many human national treasure are confused with others, & Every day i find galleries that sell objects at stratospheric prices without knowing what they have in hand. It is the case of a Tokyo Gallery that do not know the difference between Kei, Ken & Fujiwara Yu.
I'm certainly not surprised by Rakusai, where knowledge certainly helps with the appropriate experience of understanding the steps of the various generations that are still difficult for me even i dig on it everyday. But Fujiwara is a must for any Bizen fan and daily bread for any Pottery Gallery.
If in this case the signature on the box is by Fujiwara Yu , it is obvious that at least it should be noted that the ceramic is signed by his son Fujiwara Kei. Even the teacher may have signed a work of his student and / or vice versa, it seems obvious that Kobiaji2 seller he does not know what he is selling. I confirm about in the past both had a sort of "Communion" but Hanko Chops are always both on the same box! So this is a Fujiwara Kei work and the Box is of Fujiwara Yu. Gotcha!
Just a Classic. collabolabo4414: is a seller that do not the difference between Deishi Shibuya and Takashi Mashita But he Read Kanji, thats for sure!
Another trick of these sellers is to take potteries in hidden market or not well know web spaces away from our world (u will be redirected to letao.com.tw, if u write the name of Kota Kenshin or any other and you will realize addresses in Rwanda, if you try to copy/paste the auction). After that these sellers make again photos with their reflex By using filters and others tricks. I found the same pot on-line, mostly with bids from third parties with an almost improbable re-styling.
Don't tell me that this Gallery is the same of Fujiwara Kei pot. Yes it is!
Goma,Ash will never have this range of Colours & only Sunlight and Gamma Correction will do!
