[Old taste] Masanao Kaneda Hagi tea bowl Tea utensils Guaranteed product ▼Product description The light glaze is exquisite and the appearance is beautiful. ★We guarantee  that the product is the work of Masanao Kaneda .  ▼Artist information [Masanao Kaneda] Born in Hagi City in 1953 as the eldest son of Sanzaemon Kaneda VII. 1977 Graduated from Tokyo University of Education, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture. 1979 Graduated from University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Art and Design majoring in Sculpture. Started making pottery with his father, Sanzaemon. 1981 Received the Japan Kogei Association Yamaguchi Branch Asahi Shimbun Award. 1984 Received the Mainichi Shimbun Award at the Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramics Exhibition. 1990 Received the Minister of International Trade and Industry Award at the West Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. 1997 Solo exhibition at Gallery Kurimoto. 2005 Succeeded to the name of Tenpousan Kiln Yatsushiro. 2008 Solo exhibition at Gallery Kurimoto. Many other awards received. His works have been collected by the Brooklyn Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Yokohama Museum of Art.
