For the past 500 years the tea ceremony, in Japanese cha no yu, has been handed down in the form in which its formalizer, Sen no Rikyū, defined it: a moment of calm and refined beauty, of deep sharing among the participants in which the The act of preparing, offering and receiving tea becomes an act of contemplation and consonance with the self and the cosmos. To grasp the simplicity that the name of this discipline expresses - cha no yu literally means water for tea - is the result of a long process of reduction to the essential, of emptying to fully enjoy only what is essential, irreducible, necessary. Every movement in cha no yu must be motivated and respond to a specific function: secular gestures, codified words, thanks, attention to the use of tools and care for the guest. This does not mean that it is a rigid and silent ceremony, its purpose is to relax and entertain pleasantly and the expressive power and beauty of gestures and objects are inspirational of tranquility and harmony.

Merzouga (مرزوقة ; ⵎⴰⵔⵣⵓⴳⴰ)
Matcha (抹茶) is a finely ground powder of green tea leaves specially grown and processed. It is special for two aspects: green tea plants for matcha are grown in the shade for about three weeks before harvest and the stems and veins are removed during processing. During shaded growth, the Camellia sinensis plant produces more teinin and caffeine. This combination of chemicals is considered an explanation for the energy that people claim to get in taking matcha. Matcha is soluble in water or milk. The traditional Japanese tea ceremony focuses on the preparation, service and consumption of matcha as hot tea and embodies a spiritual and meditative style.

Sencha (煎茶) is a type of Japanese ryokucha (緑茶, green tea) which is prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. This is as opposed to matcha (抹茶), powdered Japanese green tea, where the green tea powder is mixed with hot water and therefore the leaf itself is included in the beverage.
We only have exceptional quality with beautiful elegant emerald couloured leaves classified among the "great" teas. Characteristic of the excellent green teas of Japan, with an intense flavour. We don't deal with China.
