[Masakazu Yamada]Born in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture in 1951. In 1975, he was selected for the first time at the Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition. In 1981, he was selected for the first time at the China-Japan International Ceramic Art Exhibition. In 1982, won the first prize at the Gifu Prefectural Art Exhibition. In 1983, he was selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition (12 times since then). In 1984, won the Municipal Press Club Award at the Mino Ceramics Association Exhibition. In 1996, received the Encouragement Award at the Mino Ceramics Exhibition. A regular member of the Japan Kogei Association and a judge of the Tokai Branch of the Japan Kogei Association.
