Artist biography:
Chobei Kanaya
1978 Learned metalwork techniques at a foundry in Kanaya, Takaoka City.
In 1989, he became independent and began producing tea ceremony utensils.
In 1993, he assumed the name of Chobei II.
1995 Solo exhibition at Takaoka City Art Gallery.
